Miguel Carvalho is an illustrator, with more than 15 years of experience, 20 published titles, an animation filmmaker with +10 films produced and participations in festivals, and graphic designer working in the cultural market, branding, visual identity for theater shows, editorial, etc. Finally, he is professor at Department of Arts and Design of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro where he teaches Illustration, Storyboard and Design. He has a degree in Visual Programming from the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, specializing in children's literature from the Fluminense Federal University and a Master's degree in Design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, where he works as a researcher at the Laboratory of Story Design.

Miguel Carvalho é ilustrador, com 11 títulos publicados, cineasta de animação com 5 filmes produzidos e participações em festivais, e designer gráfico atuante principalmente no mercado cultural, desenvolvendo identidade visual para espetáculos de teatro, capas de discos, livros, etc. Por fim, é professor do Departamento de Artes e Design da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro onde ministra aulas de Ilustração, Storyboard e Projeto.
